На странице настроек для многих ресурсов и элементов курса есть раздел под названием «Общее».
Доступность
Настройка доступности содержит до 3 возможных вариантов (в зависимости от того, включен ли параметр «Разрешить скрытую деятельность» администратором в разделе «Администрирование»).
- Показать на странице курса
- Ресурс или элемент доступны студентам (при условии соблюдения любых ограничений доступа, которые могут быть установлены).
- Скрыть от студентов
- Ресурс или элемент доступны только пользователям, имеющим разрешение на просмотр скрытых действий (по умолчанию это пользователи с ролью преподавателя и ассистента).
- Сделать доступным, но не отображаемым на странице курса
- Для упрощения просмотра страницы курса. Ссылка на ресурс или элемент должна быть предоставлена из другого источника, например, со страницы ресурса. Оцениваемый элемент по-прежнему отображается в журнале оценок и других отчетах.

ID number
Setting an ID number provides a way of identifying the activityfor grade calculation purposes. If the activity is not included in any grade calculation then the ID number field can be left blank.
The ID number can also be set on the edit grade calculation page in the Gradebook, though it can only be edited on the update activity page of the module in a course context.
The ID number may also be used by other modules and plugins.
Force language
The teacher can force a language to be used in an individual activity, rather than for the whole course. An example is if students are studying a language and the course is in their native language but a particular activity such as an Assignment is forced to their target language, to encourage them to focus.
Include in course content download
If download course content is enabled, and if the content is downloadable (currently File, Folder, Page and Text and Media area) then should this item be downloaded?
Group mode
Groups are set up on the course level. When course group mode is turned on and force is set to no, the group mode can be one of three levels on the activity level: no groups, separate groups or visible groups.
- No groups
- There are no groups and all students submit their individual activities in one area.
- Separate groups
- Students submit their activity and teachers/trainers can sort submissions by Group or view All Participants.
- Visible groups
- All students submits their assignment within a single Assignment area but may choose which Group to associate their submission with before uploading. Teachers/trainers can sort submissions by Group or view All Participants.
Groupings
Groupings are a collection of groups that are set up on the course level.
