Switching the rendering location changes the way the block behaves in the course:

Render in block

If this option is enabled, all rednerings will be produced within the block content. this might be an option for standard course formats and small sized graphic graphs, or for using bigger element in a more flexible paged format.

If disabled, block content displays a lonk to an extra page that will render the data.
