== Adding a Contact to a MoodleTxt Address Book ==

This page allows you to add a new contact to your address book. The first section allows you to enter some basic information about the contact:

*Contact's first name
*Contact's last name
*Name of company (if contact is a company, or represents one)
*Contact's phone number

=== Group Membership ===

Any groups that already exist within your address book are displayed in the "Addressbook Groups" list on the left of the page. If you want to add this new contact to any of these groups, select them from the list on the left and click the >> button. This will move them to the list on the right hand side of the page. The new contact will be added to any groups that are shown in this list on the right when it is saved to the address book.

=== Saving the Contact ===

When you are satisfied with the details you have entered for the new contact, you have two options when saving it. You can either save the contact, and return to the address book's listing page, or you can clear the form to add another contact. Select the appropriate button from the bottom of the form, and the contact will be saved to the database.
